Quite a number of my wife
sometimes I pull it out
and thumb through the span of time
I was trying to see a pattern
See if I really had a kind
I lean towards fixer uppers
I fix them up until they leave
Leave them better than I found them
It’s something to achieve
But I feel the patterns shifting
I’m thinking out of the box
I’m really in a league all my own
Unlocking all the locks
It’s been a long trail with a wide expanse
With quite a few partners in a crazy dance
