Mamaw

I went with the family quote. My father‘s mother or as we called her Mamaw used to always say “have a place for everything and put everything in its place“ in other words, we were all pigs. And it drove her nuts.

Mamaw

My mamaw always said

Have a place for every thing

Put everything in its place

And live like a king

If you keep your house in order

Then your mind will be ordered too

Then everything will be OK

You’ll have a clear view

When your view is clear

You’ll see the path

That’s laid before you

And then you can see clearly

What you should do

And then you avoid the missteps

That take you off your path

1 foot in front of the other

Don’t screw up the math

It really is quite simple

But some try to complicate it

One step forward two steps back

And the light is always shaded

But when we do see clearly

And the path is obvious

Disorder does evaporate

And the truth can see us

Once the light of truth

Illuminates your steps

Your purpose becomes clear

And you can reach into the depths

And then this world it opens up

It cracks just like an egg

You can see the lock and key

From birth until your death

And then there will be a place

A place for everything

And everything will be in its place

And you’ll live like a king
