I was thinking about Uvalde and Ukraine and wrote this Cheerie Little ditty. I

Walk off the battlefield

The anger in the world
is really overwhelming
The fighting the shooting
the yelling

but there is hope
I think we can cope
with a little more love
and help from above
Transcend all these trials
and bring back the smiles
with hugs we embrace
overcomes this disgrace

walk off the battlefield
throw away the shields
For the fear it isn’t real
it’s time for us to heal

alleviate the fear
wipe away the tears
no that we’re all one
put down all the guns
