I was listening to The End of the World with Josh Clark, episode 10 on the simulation argument when we got our songwriting prompt for the week “Where’s is my…” and I got to thinking about the nature of reality. If you have time it is an interesting podcast, but it will mess with your head.
A few references in the song which you probably already know are, Deep Blue, the computer that beat Kasparov at chess. The Quarks of Mann, Murray Gell-Mann discovered the quark, founded the Santa Fe Institute and used to ride around in my cab. Max is Max Planck a leader in sub atomic physics, and Henrietta Lacks had a tumor which kept growing after it was taken out of her body and her tissue is still growing all over the world.She’s the first immortal.
